Czech FAČR: The Football Association of the Czech Republic

Overview

The Football Association of the Czech Republic (Czech FAČR) is the governing body of football in the Czech Republic. The association was founded in 1901 and is a member of FIFA and UEFA. The Czech FAČR is responsible for organizing all levels of football in the Czech Republic, from the national team to the youth leagues.

National Team

The Czech Republic national football team is one of the most successful teams in Europe. The team has won the European Championship once and has finished runner-up twice. The Czech Republic has also qualified for the FIFA World Cup on several occasions, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Domestic League

The Czech First League is the highest level of football in the Czech Republic. The league is contested by 16 teams and the winner qualifies for the UEFA Champions League.
